The Lycée Français, is a large, busy French secondary independent school, comprising a mix of modern and Grade II listed buildings, which is wholly owned by the French Government, and situated in South Kensington, London.

The works included replacing 48 roofs ranging from slate, plain tiles, copper, lead and zinc surfaces, rebuilding and repairs to chimney stacks and parapet walls, works to the rainwater goods and external decorations at roof level.

As the building remained occupied throughout the Thomas Sinden team maintained close liaison with the school at all times to ensure that the works were carried out in a safe manner and ensured the school operations continued as usual during the works.
