The new Animal Management Centre will enable the college to deliver a broader, more exciting curriculum for learners as they will be able to care for a much wider variety of species and allow students greater interaction with them.
The new building is of a single storey steel framed structure with a combination of flat and mono pitched roofs, with solar panels and includes two irregular ‘pods’ protruding from the rectilinear structure.
The building achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating.
