Sutton Life Centre

Transforming an underused South London centre into a dedicated one-stop-shop for young people with SEND

Appointed by the London Borough of Sutton through the Procure Partnerships Framework, our team has transformed the centre into a purpose-built SEND college and Preparation for Adulthood Hub, now part of Orchard Hill College.

The new Preparation for Adulthood Hub provides dedicated space to support young people with SEND to build independence, develop new skills, and gain confidence as they move towards employment and active participation in their community.

Minimising Disruption: A key challenge during the project was ensuring that the existing library, located within the same building, remained fully operational throughout construction. This was carefully planned and managed to minimise disruption for library users.

Awards: Finalist in the National Project Excellence Awards – South
