Nearly 80 properties, housed in this three-storey 1970’s building, underwent refurbishment to provide new balconies, tripled-glazed windows and facades.

Giving consideration to the occupied nature of the properties, Thomas Sinden provided a dedicated resident liaison officer to ensure that all residents were proactively advised and aware of the works and how they would impact on their homes throughout the scheme.

As part of a local training initiative Thomas Sinden provided seven young local job hunters with work experience through Harrow Council’s Xcite Employment Scheme, and three Xcite apprentices who worked on the project have since found employment, whilst another two have gone into further training.

It is always pleasing to deliver a quality product which improves the living environment of the residents.  The building looks more like a new build than a retrofit which is testament to all those involved in the design and construction.
