On 16th September 2017, twenty Thomas Sinden employees undertook the 24 hour National Three Peaks Challenge!

The twenty walkers and six drivers divided into three sub teams, led by directors Des Thomas, Graeme Sinden and Steve McMahon, each team competing to finish first.

Braving tough weather conditions, sore feet and sleep depravation the teams raced up Ben Nevis starting at 9:30am on Saturday, with the last of our team coming down from Snowdon at 10.39am on Sunday.

We would like to thank all those that donated and helped us raise just over £16,000 for our four nominated charities Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis, Coram, Toynbee Hall and Food for Life Vrindavan.

Mike Hughes, Contract Surveyor said:
“The three peaks challenge provided a great opportunity for staff to socialise and bond outside of the workplace from the very beginning with weekly training events right through to the completion celebrations.  Although the event was every bit a challenge it was enjoyed by all and further strengthened the great relationships already held by all the colleagues here at Thomas Sinden.  We’re delighted with the amount raised and would like to thank everyone who has supported us”.
