Thomas Sinden appointed to deliver the most sustainable office in Milton Keynes

We are pleased to announce our appointment by RO Group to deliver the revitalisation of Silbury House into the most sustainable office building in Milton Keynes.

Thomas Sinden have been appointed as Principal Contractor to deliver the fit-out phase which includes the full refurbishment of the building including structural alterations, new finishes and new services throughout. The building will include a range of different sustainability measures, incorporating recovered and reused flooring, encapsulate c. 40% less embodied carbon (when compared to the RIBA 2030 target), and will install on-site PV solar power generation and electrical vehicle chargers. Heat recovery VRF air conditioning and RESET air quality monitors will also be included. Targeting BREEAM Excellent, an EPC A rating and Fitwel accreditation.
