Thomas Sinden are delighted to have been selected by the UK Parliament team to carry out conservation works at the Palace of Westminster and on the wider Parliamentary Estate under Lot 2 of the MEPFS Framework Agreement.

The framework has been put in place to deliver essential works to ensure the safety of building occupants whilst also protecting the fabric of the historic Grade I listed Palace of Westminster until the Restoration and Renewal Programme commences.

Projects procured under the framework will use the NEC suite of contracts to provide a collaborative environment for delivering best value. Through a comprehensive and diverse series of mobilisation workshops the MEPFS Programme within Parliament’s In-House Services and Estates Department have done an excellent job of setting up the framework for success and we very much look forward to working with their team to reduce procurement and mobilisation timescales whilst improving time and cost certainty on their projects.
