We are delighted to share the fantastic news that our project at Gainsborough’s House in Sudbury, Suffolk, has been awarded the prestigious 2024 Civic Trust Award.
This project involved the refurbishment and restoration of Gainsborough’s House, the childhood home of the renowned artist Thomas Gainsborough (1727–88). Additionally, a landmark three-story gallery building and café were constructed. Despite the project’s complex challenges, the dedication and hard work of the entire project team have resulted in an outstanding building. The high-quality finish of the new building is a testament to everyone’s commitment and is truly deserving of recognition from the Civic Trust.
