Thomas Sinden Ltd are an Approved Training Provider for the CITB for the Site Safety Plus Training Scheme.

We are accredited to deliver the following courses under licence for the CITB:

• Health and Safety Awareness

• Achieving Behavioural Change (ABC)

• Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)

• The Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)

With the ever increasing demand of CDM 2007 upon the construction industry, it is worth pointing out that the 5 day SMSTS qualification is actually referenced in the CDM 2007 Approved Code of Practice as a way of demonstrating safety competence for your site managers.

Since the introduction of CDM 2007, the SSSTS 2 day course for supervisors’ has also been developed as a way of demonstrating supervisor safety competence. This qualification is now being enforced on major construction sites in the UK and is certain to become the benchmark site supervisor safety qualification.

The certificates for all Site Safety Plus courses expire every five years. After this period runs out, certificate holders have to sit a refresher course  which we also deliver to renew their qualification for a further five years.
